This Privacy Policy explains how Solution Bowl (India) Private Limited (“Solution Bowl”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, holds, and discloses personal information about Australian users of this website and the free design programme advertised on it.
We handle personal information about Australian users in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Where there is any conflict between this policy and the Privacy Act, the Privacy Act prevails.
1. The personal information we collect
We collect the following kinds of personal information:
- Information you provide: name, email address, phone number, company name, website, and the brief you submit through our application form, plus anything else you choose to include in your communications with us.

- Cookies and similar technologies: small files stored in your browser to remember preferences (e.g. that you have dismissed the cookie banner). You can control cookies through your browser settings.
2. How we collect it (APP 3)
We collect personal information directly from you when you submit an application, contact us, or interact with the site. We do not buy lists of personal information from third parties.
3. Why we collect it and how we use it (APP 6)

- To meet our legal obligations and to enforce our terms.
4. When we disclose it (APP 6 & APP 8)
We do not sell your personal information. We disclose it only to:
- Service providers we use to operate the site, the application form, analytics, and email (e.g. hosting, form processing, mail delivery). They act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting, insurance) where reasonably required.
- Government and law-enforcement authorities where required or authorised by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
- Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this policy.
5. Cross-border disclosure (APP 8)
Solution Bowl operates from India, and our service providers may be located in India, the United States, the European Union, or elsewhere. By using this site or submitting an application, you acknowledge that your personal information may be transferred to and stored in countries outside Australia. Where APP 8 applies, we take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle your information in a manner consistent with the APPs.
6. Direct marketing (APP 7 & Spam Act 2003)
We will only send you commercial electronic messages where you have given express or inferred consent under the Spam Act, and every message will include sender identification and an easy way to opt out. To unsubscribe, follow the link in any marketing email or contact us at contactus@solutionbowl.com.
7. Quality, security, and retention (APP 10 & APP 11)
We take reasonable steps to ensure personal information is accurate, complete, and up-to-date, and to protect it from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, including any retention required to satisfy legal, tax, or accounting obligations. After that, we destroy or de-identify it.
8. Notifiable Data Breaches
We comply with the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme under Part IIIC of the Privacy Act. If we reasonably believe an eligible data breach has occurred (a breach of personal information likely to result in serious harm), we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as soon as practicable.

10. Anonymity and pseudonymity (APP 2)
Where it is lawful and practicable, you may interact with us without identifying yourself or by using a pseudonym. Note that we cannot meaningfully evaluate an application without contact details.
